POSITIONING THE VEHICLE________________________________
After the vend is accepted from the pay station, the front arms on the
Gantry will extend. This gives the customer a direct view of the
lights. As the vehicle enters the bay the
green lights on both the front arms
and the face panel skins will illuminate. These lights will be lit until the
infra-red sensors on the sides of the Gantry detect the vehicle. When the
vehicle is detected the
red lights on the front arms will illuminate. If the
vehicle does not stop within the tolerable range (approximately 36”), the
overhead ultra-sonic sensor near the top brush will detect it and the
yellow
lights on the front arms will illuminate telling the customer to back up.
Once the vehicle is in the correct position and the
red lights on the front
arms are illuminated for a period of four seconds, the arms will retract to
the home position and the Gantry will begin the programmed wash cycle.
WASH PACKAGES__________________________________________
The BayWash i5 offers a total of four wash packages (vends). Each wash
package can be configured to apply multiple chemicals and functions
simultaneously during the same pass.
