5.4 Dry installation of the unit
The unit can be installed in a dry situation above the water level. Therefore the remaining water of the unit
has to be brought back to the reservoir with a hose. In case of positioning the JJ above the water level the
indications of the hose length graph and the heights of the unit have to be taken into account.

The hose has to be laid without bending it sharply and with a free and open outlet above the water level.
Attention: Splashing water is system immanent in case of dry installation as well.
6 Electrical installation
The unit foot is fitted with a 12 V connection box (12 V AC) as well as a DMX connection box (DMX)
(Fig. A) .
Connection of the power supply
This is how to connect the cable to the 12 V power supply (Fig. B, C) :
1. Remove both screws from the 12 V connection box (12 V AC) and remove the cover cap.
2. Insert the connection plug into the socket and secure with both screws (note the correct seating of the
seal in the plug).
DMX cable connection
This is how to connect the unit to the DMX control system (DMX control unit) a (Fig. B, C) :
1. Remove the two screws from the DMX connection box (DMX ) and remove the cover cap.
2. Insert the plug of the DMX cable of the DMX control unit in the socket for the DMX input signal (DMX-
IN) and secure by means of the two screws (note the correct seating of the seal in the plug).
How to connect additional (max. 31) units to the DMX control system (Fig. D) :
1. Remove the two screws and take off the cover cap.
2. Insert the plug of the DMX cable in the socket of the already connected unit for the DMX output signal
(DMX-OUT) and secure by means of the two screws. Insert the other plug of this DMX cable in the
socket for the DMX input signal (DMX-IN) of the next unit.
3. At the end of a DMX line an OASE DMX termination plug has to be installed.
