Camera
7.2 Setup menu
When you are in camera mode, you can tap on the icon to access the setup menu. The
menu has fi ve submenus Basic , Advanced , Photo , Video and About . You can press the
navigation keys (left and right) or use the stylus to tap on desired menu options.
Basic settings
Under the General menu, you can adjust the following items:
Item Description
Save position Sets locations of image/video files as Device or Storage Card.
Mode
Sets capture mode as Photo (Normal), Photo (Frame), Photo (MMS), Video
(Normal), Video (MMS).
Resolution
Resolution options vary according to the Capture Mode you select.
• Photo Normal: 1600 x 1200 UXGA, 1280 x 1024 XGA, 640 x 480 VGA,
320 x 240 QVGA, 176 x 144 QCIF
• Photo Frame: 320 x 240 QVGA
• Photo MMS: 176 x 144 QCIF
• Video Normal: 320 x 240 QVGA, 176 x 144 QCIF
• Video MMS: 176 x 144 QCIF
Continuous/
Size Limit
Allows you to define how many photos you want to take continuously at one
shutter: None, 2, 4 and 6. The default value is None.
Camera Sound Enables or disables camera sound.
Quick view A quick view after you take a shot. Select to turn this feature on/off.
Macro mode Captures an object very near you.
Self Timer
Turns the Self Timer on/off, and sets the count down time as 5 or 10 seconds.
When the Self Timer is activated, the icon appears on the screen. When
you press the Center key or Camera key, it starts to blink for the time you have
set. The default setting is Off.
Advanced settings
Item Description
Night Mode Select to activate or deactivate Night Mode. The default setting is Off.
Flicker Filter Select the Flicker Filter value as 50Hz or 60Hz.
Saturation The Saturation level ranges from -3 to +3. The default value is 0.
