Self test menu
The tests available are as follows:
•
level: run the spirit level demo. Press the User button to end this and return to
the self-test menu.
•
sdram: test on-board sdram. JP14 and JP15 must be set to SDRAM (SD)
position for this test to run correctly.
•
sdcard: test SD card. Waits for an SD card to be inserted, reads basic card
information then performs a read/write test
•
lcd: Test the LCD and touch screen (if fitted), but running a simple touch/draw
application). Press the User button to exit this test.
•
led: Tests the ISP buttons and LEDs. Holding down ISP0 will cause light LED3 to
blink, ISP1 for LED2 and ISP0 for LED0. Press the User button to exit this test.
•
ether: Checks for presence of an Ethernet host connection then transmits 20
packets. Press User button to exit this test. JP14 and JP15 must be set to
Ethernet (EN) position for this test to run correctly. It may be necessary to reset
the board to exit this test if a failure occurs.
•
spifi: Tests the flash of the LPC54S018J4M.
•
usb: USB host test for use with a mouse. JP9 must be set to the 1-2 position and
power must be connected to J1. After reporting some diagnostic messages,
connect a mouse to J2. The PID and VID of the mouse will be reported, followed
by mouse location and button status changes. Press the User button to exit this
test.
