GLOSSARY
Access Level
For security reasons, the owner has two levels of password. The first level (the lower level)
password provides basic access without any authority to change any of those Control
Properties and planned Schedules. The second level (the higher level) password provides
total access to the software.
Alarm Call On
This is a feature allowing the Server to call the Client during an alarm situation provided
that the Client is running at the location where the Server is designated to call.
Alarm Log
It shows a list of recordings performed as a result of alarm activation.
Alarm On
Putting a check mark on this feature turns on the alarm system.
Alarm Pre-
Record
You can specify the number of frames you want to record before an alarm situation occurs
so that you can see what triggers the alarm.
Alarm Situation
When an alarm goes off, we say that we are having an alarm situation.
Auto Function
Scheduling
Weekly schedules can be programmed into the system when Auto Alarm, Auto Record or
Auto Motion Detection is to be turned on.
Auto Disconnect
With this on, the Server will disconnect the Client if the connection is not active for 2.5
minutes.
Alarm Time
Limit
This is the amount of time that recording should carry on after an alarm is triggered.
Compression
Compression is a reduction of image file size.
Connect
Password
There are two passwords for different security purposes. “digi" and “rima” are the low and
high respective levels of default connecting password .
Edge
Enhancement
Edges of objects are sharpened with edge enhancement.
Hue
A gradation of color.
Log
This is a list of calls that the Server receives.
Motion Detection
This feature detects any changes in image over a designated image area.
Phone List
This is a list of phone numbers that can be stored with the Client for calling a DigiGuard
Server located at each number.
Priority
When an image or camera window is given priority, it is refreshed once every other image
or camera window gets refreshed.
Quad Video
You can view all the four video images in the same image window.
Saturation
For Black and White, it is the degree of difference from the gray having the same
lightness--used of an object color. For Color, it is the degree of difference from the
achromatic light-source color of the same brightness--used of a light-source color.
