Setting Up
Checking PC Operating Environment
PC operating environment to use the FOMA terminal:
Setup Flow for PDA
To set up the FOMA terminal on a PDA, install required software using a PC where ActiveSync and
Windows Mobile Device Center are installed. Install applications from the bundled CD-ROM.

If your PC is not equipped with CD-ROM drive or if there is only one PC card slot and an external CD-ROM
drive is connected there, copy the CD-ROM contents to the hard disk, then start setup.

The synchronization software varies depending on the Operating System.
Use ActiveSync 4.5 or higher on Windows XP/2000, and Windows Mobile Device Center 6.0 or higher on
Windows Vista.
