4. MULTIPLEXER’S OPERATION
4.1. Live monitoring
As soon as the DVR completes its initialization process, it will begin showing live video on the
attached monitor and playing live audio through attached speakers. The default mode is to display all
cameras at once (16 or 9 depending on the DVR model). Pressing any camera button will cause that
camera to display full screen. Pressing the
DISPLAY
button cycles the DVR through the different
display formats .
Pressing the
SEQUENCE button causes the cameras to display sequentially. When in one of the
multi-view formats, pressing this button will cause the DVR to go through predefined screen layouts
(Full Sequence). Or, the bottom, right screen will display live cameras sequentially (Cameo Sequence).

If images from 4 cameras are displayed simultaneously on the monitor, pressing the Left or the Right
key is changes the displayed cameras according to the following scheme
If all 4 cameras that should be shown on the screen at one time are disconnected, their signal is lost, or
they have been covered and the user does not possess the authority to watch their images, such screen
will be excluded from the sequence.
The choice between full-screen sequence or multiple-camera sequence is done in the menu of the DVR.
By pressing the Freeze button you freeze the currently displayed image until the button is pressed
again. When the Freeze function is engaged, an icon appears in the lower left corner of the screen.
To display camera images in sequence on the spot monitor, you should press the SPOT button and then
select the spot monitor number and the sequence display function from the menu.
