9. Principle of automatic controlled
measurement
For exact cloud point determinations it is very important to dissolve the hard resins
under reproducible circumstances. This means that in order to obtain reliable
results, it is always necessary to granted reproducible the following criteria:
- the rate of heating up the liquid
- the rate of cooling down the liquid
- the hold time at a high temperature level
- the stirring speed during the process
- the sensitivity of the photocell system
