terminal strip
1. Check that the block bearings, pulleys and the drive are placed correctly on the shaft.
2. On the driving side, lead an electrical cable from the photocell through the column
upwards and over the horizontal distance profile, straight to the junction box.
3. Connect the cable as shown in illustration 4.7.
4. Mount the control box (17) to the wall at a height of 1500 mm.
5. Connect the cables to the drive and to the control unit as shown in the circuit diagram.
6. Attach the tension belt as shown on the pulley with flush-mounted M8 screws.
7. Note! Roll up 1.5 to 2 times!
8. Guide the tension belt over the reverse plate to the belt holder.
9. Tighten the tension belt in the belt holder and secure it with the clamping washer
(see ill. 4.6).
10. Repeat this on the other side.
11. Switch on the power supply and use the dead man mode to rotate the
complete roller a couple of time with the drive so springs are tensioned to 300 mm.
Please note that you need to leave the door panels rolled up, so they cannot unexpect-
edly unfold downwards when you rotate the roller!
12. Unpack the door panels and use dead man mode to guide them through the guide rails
to eye level.
13. Connect the safety contact strip in the junction box.
14. Switch off the power and connect the cable from the junction box to the control box.
15. Switch on the power supply again and set the limit switch in accordance with the corre-
sponding user manual (
'User manual digital limit switches'
).
16. Put the control in automatic mode by setting P980 to 0.
17. Install the safety devices (photocells and/or light curtain, and/or the electrical contact
strip).
18. If you are using a light curtain (9a), then attach the plastic mounting bracket (25) to the
lower slat of the door and attach the energy chain (24) to it.
19. Run a wire from the energy chain or the photocell to the junction box (23) and from there
to the control box (17).
20. Connect this cable with the supplied electrical diagram inside the control box and check
that the light curtain works correctly.
21. If necessary, carry out a further adjustment to the limit switch.
