Buffer disc
The buffer disc (1) guides the label material
while it is being wound up. A ratchet wheel is
fitted to the back of the buffer disc, over which
the drive belt runs.

Disassembling
1. Unscrew the three Phillips fastening
screws (2) on the cover plate (3).
Carefully remove the cover plate.
The cover plate is also held in position
by double-sided tape (4).
2. Loosen the two fastening screws (5) of
the belt tensioner.
3. Remove the retaining ring (6).
4. Remove the buffer disc.
