ADJUSTING THE BEVEL ANGLE 
The bevel lock knob is used to lock the 
cutting head at the required bevel
angle. The Mitre Saw bevel cuts from 0° to 
45°.
1. Pull the bevel lock knob to release the 
bevel lock (Fig. 6). 
2. Rotate the handle (Fig. 7) to release 
the lock. Rotate the cutting head to the 
required bevel angle as shown by the bevel 
angle indicator (Fig. 8).
3. Turn the bevel lock knob until firm. Push 
the bevel lock knob to lock into place.

LOCKING AND UNLOCKING THE SLIDING 
MECHANISM.
Always lock the sliding mechanism before 
transporting or storing the saw. 

To unlock it, loosen the slide lock (Fig. 9) 
by turning it counterclockwise. To lock
it, tighten the slide rail lock by turning it 
clockwise.

CHANGING THE BLADE 
When fitting a new blade, check the 
squareness of the blade to the mitre
table prior to use.

Refer to the Maintenance section of this 
manual for instructions.

Warning: 

Ensure the bevel lock knob 

is tight before making a cut. If it is not 
secured, the cutting head may move 
during operation and cause serious 
personal injury.
