ENTER 1 to 9 FOR 9 CUSTOM MESSAGES OR 0 FOR CUSTOM
POINT LABEL:
Any one of the nine custom messages may be programmed by
pressing the respective number followed by ENTER on the keyboard.
The LCD-80 screen and the display monitor will display either a
default message or whatever message was last stored in the unit.
Text cannot be immediately entered since the cursor starts at the end
of the message. The LCD-80 programmer must edit the message using
the backspace key, then enter a new message.
Once the message has been edited, press ENTER to store the message.
The screen will return to the display, “READY FOR
PROGRAMMING.”
These custom messages have various character widths and are
displayed under different conditions present within the fire alarm
system.

Messages 6 through 9 are not displayed
on the LCD-80. These messages are sent
to a printer connected to the LCD-80.
