Setting up the VoIP Gateway dialing plan – Number Type
On the
Destination Phone Number Manipulation Table for TEL->IP calls
screen:
1 Enter the digit parsing rules for the dialed number.
2 Select the type of number that the H323 protocol uses for classification.
Figure 32 shows the

Setting up the VoIP Gateway dialing plan – Digit Delivery
On the Digit Delivery Table screen:
1
Enter digit parsing rules for the number you receive over the VoIP Trunk.
2 In the Num of Stripped Digits box, enter 3.
This strips off the location code. If you are not stripping digits, enter 0.
3 Enter the D and D9 as the prefix.
Enter “D” to instruct the VoIP Gateway to wait for the Norstar supplied dial tone.
Enter “D9”, to wait for dial tone and add the destination code for PSTN access for those calls
coming in for toll bypass.
Figure 33 shows the
Digit Delivery Table
settings for the Head Office VoIP Gateway.
