Setup and assembly

Navigational Key transition for IP Phone 1120E

To access all 22 keys available on a M522 line option, as well as keys
5 to 14 for the IP Phone 1120E on a GEM, the user must press the Up
or Down navigational key on the terminal. The following steps detail this
procedure, for additional information see the specific phone User Guide.

To follow this procedure, the user must have an IP Phone 1120E Series
terminal with one or two attached GEM units.

Procedure 1
Procedure for IP Phone 1120E Navigational Keys

Ensure M522 line options are provisioned.

Ensure the main terminals feature keys 5 to 14 and keys 1 to 8
for the M522 are displayed on the first page of the GEM.

Press the Up or Down navigational key.

Feature keys 9 to 22 are displayed on the GEM, pressing the
navigational keys again will move back to the first page.

With two M522 line options and two GEM units attached,
Up and Down will transition a page change on both GEM’s
simultaneously. The second GEM will only display the second
M522 feature keys.

Navigational Key transition for IP Phone 1140E and 1150E

To access all 22 keys available on a M522 line option, as well as keys 7
to 14 for the IP Phone 1140E and 1150E on a GEM, the user must press
the Up or Down navigational key on the terminal. The following steps
detail this procedure, for additional information see the specific phone User
Guide.

To follow this procedure, the user must have an IP Phone 1140E and
1150E Series terminal with one or two attached GEM units.
