The Enhanced Intelligent Peripheral Equipment (EIPEs) should be on 
the minimum versions that Table 25 shows. However, it is highly 
recommended that sites have the latest EIPE load available in order to 
maximize features and get the latest enhancements.

Table 26 lists M3900 Release 3 features and capabilities and shows 
which software and XPM loads are required for each capability. 
Customers should make sure that any applicable patches have been 
applied. The base software for the M3900 series digital telephones on 
the Meridian SL-100 is MSL11 for Commercial software loads; 
however, it is MSL12 for Federal software loads.
