ISDN BRI Administration and Maintenance
Note: Observe the LED on the faceplate of the SILC or UILC while
performing the next step.

Insert the SILC or UILC into the selected card slot and lock it in
place.
The LED should light, flash three times, then remain lit to indicate that
the card is operating correctly but is not configured.
—or—
The LED should light, flash three times, then extinguish to indicate that
the card is operating correctly and is configured.
Any other LED indication suggests a defective circuit card.

Repeat the steps in this procedure for each SILC or UILC being
installed.
