Initializing a Northern Telecom M5000 terminal adapter

The M5000 is Northern Telecom's Universal Terminal Adapter (UTA). It
adapts a non-BRI data terminal or a 500/2500-type telephone to the ISDN
BRI protocol. A terminal must be attached to the M5000 terminal adapter to
initialize it. Refer to the M5000 terminal adapter user guide for detailed
configuration procedures.
