Performing RAID maintenance

Part 5: 702t Server Maintenance and Diagnostics

Type

The system displays a warning,

Existing file, if any

will be overwritten

Select Yes.

Result:

The RAID configuration is backed up on the floppy disk. A

message appears when the backup has been successfully completed.

Press Esc to return to the Main Menu.

Press Esc to exit the DAC960 Configuration Utility.

Result:

The system prompts you to confirm that you want to exit.

Select Yes, and then press Enter.

CAUTION

Risk of data loss

You must save this file to drive A on a floppy disk; otherwise,
you may not be able to restore the RAID configuration if the
RAID card fails.

Ensure the floppy disk is stored in a safe and accessible
location.
