Configuring Security using the CLI

Field

Description

SecurityLevel

Specifies the security level for SNMP messages:
noAuthnoPriv, authnoPriv, or authPriv.

Storage Type

Specifies whether this table entry (row) will be stored in
volatile or nonvolatile memory. If the entry is stored in volatile
memory, it doesl not persist if the switch loses power.

The Notify Table

The Notify Table contains default entries for a trap notification type and
inform notification type.

To create a Notify Table entry, use the following procedure:
