Mounting the access point on a wall or ceiling
Use this procedure to mount the BAP120 on a wall or ceiling.
Prerequisites
•
You must have an electrically insulating gap of at least 0.5 inches (in.)
between the base of the BAP120 and an electrically conducting surface.
Procedure steps

Action

Securely attach a 0.5-in. plywood base to the wall or ceiling to
isolate the BAP120 from the mounting surface. Leave enough space
above (wall mount) or behind (ceiling mount) to connect the power
cord and Ethernet cable.

Use the screws provided to screw the mounting plate to the mounting
surface with the tab facing up (wall mount) or behind (ceiling mount).

Slide the pins on the base of the BAP120 into the keyhole slots on
the mounting bracket.

Tighten the thumbscrew to secure the BAP120 onto the mounting
bracket.
