Mounting the Humidifier

5.4.1  Location and Suggested Clearances

The location of the Nortec EL/RS Outdoor humidifier depends largely on the location of the steam dis-

tributor  and  the  preferred  mounting  arrangement. 

Figure 8 on page 22 

and 

Table 4 on page 23 

show  the 

suggested minimum clearances regardless of the mounting arrangement selected. The clearance values 

shown are for reference only, and are suggested clearances for ease of maintenance. Consult local and 

national installation codes. Nortec does not accept responsibility for violations of the installation codes.

Note:

 Although an overhead clearance is not required for operation of the Nortec EL/RS Outdoor humidifier, 

adequate overhead clearance must be provided to permit installation of the unit.
