Controller experiencing valve communication
issues; typically caused by a faulty physical
connection:
1. On the controller alarm screen, press OK
(check).
NOTE:
This action clears the screen, but
may not clear the alarm. Continue with the
next steps to ensure the alarm is cleared.
2. Switch the controller OFF and wait
5 seconds for the valve to fully discharge.
3. Ensure that the valve cables are properly
connected.
4. Check the valve cables for damage and
replace as needed.
5. Switch the controller ON and verify that the
controller shows valve temperature readings
on the HEATERS screen.
NOTE:
Valve communication can also be
verified by ensuring that the valve serial
number is shown on the INFO screen.

Valve cables
System cannot detect a valid valve connected
to the controller:
• Ensure that all wiring connections are correct.
• Ensure that the valve cables are properly
connected.

Issue with system electronics:
• Switch off the controller and wait 5 seconds
for the valve to fully discharge, then switch on
the controller. If the alarm persists, return the
controller to Nordson EFD or to the vendor
for service.
