AT+CMGW Write Message to Memory
This command stores a message in a preferred memory storage se-
lected with the AT+CPMS command. Memory location <index> of a
stored message is returned. By default, the message status will be
set to " STO UNSENT ", but the parameter <stat> also allows other
status values to be given. Entering of text is done similarly as spec-
ified in the command AT+CMGS. This command form applies only to
the SMS text mode, and the PDU mode form of the command is de-
scribed in the next sec-
tion.
Syntax:
AT+CMGW=<addr>[,<type>[,<stat>]]<CR>text<ctrl-Z/ESC>
Store message.
Response is +CMGW:<index>.
Parameters:

“origin or destination address in string format”
<type>
type of origin or destination address, 129 for
normal
and 145 for international access (number con-
tains ‘+’
character)
<stat>
“REC UNREAD”
received unread message
“REC READ”
received read message
“STO UNSENT”
stored unsent message (default)
“STO SENT”
stored sent message
