5-2 FREQUENCY RESPONSE

Frequency response may be verified by placing a 10 dB

attenuator on the output of the programmable noise
instrument and viewing on a spectrum analyzer of FFT

as appropriate.

Power output may be measured by means of a power

meter and thermistor mount for frequencies above

10MHz. Below 10MHz, a true RMS voltmeter such as
HP3400A with 50 ohms shunting the input, should be

used

programming instructions of section 4-3.
