Chapter 7 - Maintenance
7 Maintenance
This chapter describes how to maintain and
clean the machine.
7.1 Safety instructions
•
Do not use
a water hose or high-pressure cleaner to spray the machine clean.
•
Clean
and
disinfect
the machine at least once every six weeks with the
recommended cleaning and disinfecting agents.
•
Decalcify
the machine every 4
th
cleaning, but atleast twice a year.
•
Use
prescribed lubricants only.
Maintenance work may only be carried out by
trained staff.
Regular maintenance ensures good-quality ice
cream and a properly functioning machine.
7.2 General instructions
The machine must be cleaned and disinfected at least once every six weeks.
Between 2 to 2.5 hours are needed for this. Below are a number of general
instructions for how to clean and disinfect the machine correctly.
