Set unspecified samples pretreated by wet degradation etc. Mercury in pretreated
sample has become bivalent mercury ion (Hg
2+
). 0-valency mercury (Hg

) comes out
when reducing agent (SnCl
2
) is added and followed by being bubbled. 0-valency
mercury (Hg
0
) introduces to cell by clean air, and amount of mercury is calculated by
a cold vapor atomic absorption method.
