5. Close the coolant cap tightly. When closing the front hood, hold the front
hood with hands and lower it to an appropriate angle. Then push the front
cover down firmly until it is completely closed.
Caution
Do not slam or drop the hood.
Add Brake Fluid
Warning
To avoid the risk of high voltage electric shock when opening the hood, please
contact NIO to top up the vehicle’s brake fluid.
Brake fluid is the medium for transmitting brake pressure in hydraulic brake
system. The steps of adding brake fluid are as follows:
1. Open the front hood handle cover in the passenger compartment (1 in the
Figure), pull the front hood release cable to release the front hood (2 in the
Figure).
