• Do not use high pressure washers to clean the charge port while charging.
Doing so may result in a charging failure or cause damage to either the
vehicle or the charging equipment.
• If the vehicle has a peculiar smell or emits smoke while charging, stop
charging and contact NIO immediately.
• Please use charging equipment that complies with China’s new national
standards (GB) when charging the vehicle. Otherwise, it may result in a
charging failure or cause damage to the vehicle, the charging equipment, or
personal injury.
Caution
• Do not carry out AC charging and DC charging simultaneously. Doing so may
damage the vehicle.
• If the environmental temperature is too high or too low, the charging time will
be affected. If the vehicle is kept in a low temperature environment for a long
period of time, the battery capacity will be affected.
AC Charging
You can charge your vehicle with Power Home, a public AC charger, or a portable
charging connector in the DC charging mode.
Charging Process
1. Shift into PARK, and press the AC charge port cover, or swipe right on the
center display and tap AC Charge Port to deploy the charge port cover. The
charge port indicator is in solid blue.
