• To reverse the vehicle, press and hold the Reverse button. Release it to stop the
vehicle.
You can immediately disable the automatic vehicle summon by closing the NIO
app.
You can also go to My Vehicle > Nearby Summon > Vehicle Summon Settings to
enable or disable side collision detection. Alternatively, you can choose to disable
the feature in the pop-up box in the Nearby Summon interface.
Once side collision detection is disabled, your vehicle will ignore any obstacles
within 30 cm on both sides, which may bring a collision risk.
Warning
During Nearby Summon, the vehicle cannot always detect obstacles in all
situations, as this feature may fail, work improperly, or work with delay under the
impact of multiple factors. Please pay close attention to the surroundings after
the side collision detection is disabled.
Before using Nearby Summon, ensure that:
• You check the surrounding environment of your vehicle.
• All occupants have exited the vehicle.
• The phone has a good network connection or its Bluetooth connection is
enabled.
Operating conditions for Nearby Summon:
• The vehicle is in PARK.
• No occupants are in the vehicle.
• All doors and the liftgate are closed.
• The vehicle is connected to the Internet.
• The vehicle is clear of all obstacles.
• The key is within three meters of the vehicle.
• The vehicle is parked on a paved and even surface with no potholes, bumps, or
steps.
