your vehicle’s location information won’t be used for Driver Assist Analytics &
Improvement any longer.

The vehicle records and stores the images captured by the front camera in
abnormal driving scenarios such as accident warning events or vehicle collisions
(such as when AEB is activated), and uploads them to the NIO cloud under specific
circumstances. The vehicle records and uploads the surround-view images during
the activation of the Parking Assist feature under specific circumstances.

We will mask any sensitive information obtained.

You can turn off the Analytics & Improvement switch to stop the vehicle from
sharing some information with us. (For example, location information is used to
improve the driver assist, surround-view images during parking assist are used to
improve parking algorithms, and app usage data is used to learn more about the
app use frequency). However, some information used for Analytics & Improvement
will still be collected even after you’ve turned off this switch (for example, other
information related to driver assist apart from the location information). You
can contact us to request switching off the Analytics & Improvement feature
completely.

You can tap Settings > General > Analytics & Improvement to change related
settings.
