1. Close the feed water shut-o

valve and close the tank shut-o

ﬀ

valve.

2. Open the dispensing faucet to relieve system pressure. Close dispensing faucet when

ow has stopped.

3. Locate the inline

lter behind the membrane desalinator. Remove the

tti

ngs from the

lter by using a wrench on the

unscrew the

tti

ngs from the

lter.

4. To install the new

lter,

rst apply three wraps of te

on tape to the threads on the

tti

ngs, then reverse the above steps.

5. Turn on feed water shut-o

ﬀ

valve and open dispensing faucet.

6. Close dispensing faucet a

er water starts running.

7. Observe system for any leaks, especially at newly replaced cartridge.

8. Open the tank shut-o

ﬀ

valve.

9. The system should be

ushed at least once as described in the previous sec
