2.5 Fuel filling
Attention!
Always stop the engine before refuelling.
Carry out the refuelling outside or in a
well-ventilated area.
Avoid flames and sources of ignition.
Diesel oil is highly flammable.
Fuel
Use ONLY diesel oil that meets the following specifications:
Cetane number
45 minimum
Viscosity min. 2.0 / max. 4.5 cSt at 40°C (104°F)
Density 0.835/0.855 kg/liter
Sulphur 0.2% of mass, max.
Distillation 85% at 350°C (662°F)
Important when refuelling!
· Keep the area free from dirt when filling
· Do not overfill your fuel tank
· Do not spill diesel oil
· Do not smoke
When the engine is on, check the fuel level on the fuel
gauge on the multifunctional instrument panel (see
paragraph 1.4).
The engine must never run dry of diesel oil as this allows
air to enter the fuel system.
The fuel tank cap is located behind the cab, on the left
hand side. (Picture 1)
