Operator’s Manual City Ranger 3500
Change of engine oil and oil filter
NB: Drain the crankcase with warm oil.
Attention!
Hot oil and hot components can cause
personal injury. Do not allow hot oil or hot
components into contact with your skin.
1. Park the City Ranger 3500 on a level surface.
2. Open the filler cap. (Picture 1)
3. Remove the oil drain plug in order to allow the oil to
drain in a drain pan. (Picture 2)
4. After drainage, clean the oil drain plug and put it back
with a new gasket.
5. Remove the oil filter with a suitable tool.
6. Clean the sealing surface on the cylinder block.
7. Apply clean engine oil to the new oil filter seal and then
install a new oil filter and tighten it by hand. (Picture 3)
8. Fill with new motor oil (approx. 8 litres) until the level
reaches the maxi. on the dipstick, without exceeding it
and close the filler cap. (Picture 4)
Attention!
Never exceed the maxi. on the dipstick, it
could damage your engine.
