Cartridge filter *

ATTENTION!
When the suction power diminishes to a noticeable extent the
cartridge filter must be cleaned or, if necessary, replaced.
Release both canister clips and remove motor head from the
canister.
Remove the filter cover by turning the star grip.
Pull the cartridge filter carefully off the float housing.
Shake or lightly tab the grid to remove clinging dust. For even
better results, remove the dust with your ordinary vacuum
cleaner and the crevice nozzle.
Take care to ensure that the paper of the of the cartridge fil-
ter is not damaged.
The dirty cartridge filter can also be carefully washed under
running water and with a mild washing-up liquid.
Allow to dry thoroughly before reinstalling.
Now reinstall the cartridge filter in the reverse order.
Motor protection filter /
foam filter
(only IC 335)
ATTENTION!
Clean or, if necessary, replace the washable motor protection
filter / foam filter on a regular basis.
Release both canister clips on the bottom outward and re-
move the motor head from the canister by means of the car-
rying handle.
Place the motor head upside down on a table (preferably on
something soft).
Pull the dirty motor protection filter / foam filter carefully off
the float valve housing.
The motor protection filter / foam filter can be cleaned in a
warm soapy solution. Then allow to dry thoroughly before re-
installing.
Push the cleaned resp. new motor protection filter / foam fil-
ter on the float housing as far as it will go.
Reinstall motor head and fasten the canister clips.
