Protective grid
(only IC 335)
ATTENTION!
When the suction power diminishes to a noticeable extent the
protective grid must be cleaned or, if necessary, replaced.
Release both canister clips and remove motor head from the
canister.
Remove the filter cover by turning the star grip.
Pull the protective grid carefully off the float housing.
Shake or lightly tab the grid to remove clinging dust. For even
better results, remove the dust with your ordinary vacuum
cleaner and the crevice nozzle.
The dirty protective grid can also be carefully washed under
running water and with a mild washing-up liquid.
Allow to dry thoroughly before reinstalling.
Now reinstall the protective grid in the reverse order.
After dry vacuuming
Dust bag
Release both canister clips and remove motor head from the
canister by means of the carrying handle and set on side.
Take off the textile filter.
Carefully push the full dust bag sufficiently far back to expose
the socket inside.
Now pull the bag upwards out of the canister and dispose of
with the household refuse.
Pull the reinforced opening of the new dust bag over the
connecting socket by turning it slightly.
Place the ends of the dust bag against the inner wall of the
canister.
Reinsert the textile filter.
Reinstall motor head and fasten the canister clips.
