The boiler, along with the burner and accessories, is
delivered on a pallet together with a wooden transport
crate. The burner is placed on the boiler. Remove the
boiler from the pallet by removing the fastening screws
located in the lower part of the pallet.
Connect the boiler to the chimney using a flue or a
connection made of sheet metal with a diameter that
allows it to be sealed.
PELLUX 100 is delivered with a flue (of circular
cross-section) with an outer diameter of Ø127 mm.
The flue must be tightly connected (e.g. with a con-
nection made of appropriately thick sheet metal) to the
chimney. The connection should be made with a slope
towards the boiler. Do not reduce the diameter of the
connection. Every bend, the use of elbows, etc. in -
creases the resistance of the flue gas flow, which may
cause the boiler to operate improperly.
The boiler may only be connected to the chimney
with the appropriate draught (see Chapter 8. Spec-
ifications). It is important that the smoke conduit has
such a diameter (cross-section area) and height that
too high pressure could not occur in the boiler and in
the smoke conduit.
We recommend using a ceramic insert or a stainless
steel insert. If there are any problems with the chimney
draught, which translates into incorrect boiler opera -
tion, an exhaust fan can be used. This device supports
and stabilizes the chimney draught.
The boiler should be installed in accordance with appli -
cable standards and legal provisions. We recommend
placing the boiler and the pellet hopper on an even
and levelled concrete foundation with a height of min
5cm, with the edges of the foundation protected by
steel curbs.
Set the boiler keeping the minimum distances from the
walls. When installing the device, pay attention to en -
sure convenient access to the boiler, burner and chim -
ney during maintenance, cleaning and operation.

CAUTION
The chimney with the appropriate draught and the cor -
rect dimensions is the basic condition for the proper
functioning of the boiler.
IMPORTANT
Make sure that the chimney is cleaned in accordance
with applicable regulations. In case of doubt we recom
-
mend contacting the chimney sweep.
IMPORTANT
In order to protect the chimney against moisture and draft
limiting due to the low temperature of fumes, chimney
inserts should be made of acid-resistant or ceramic with
condensate discharge to the grate.

The boiler-room should have adequate clear air ex-
change. Correctly designed and constructed supply
and exhaust ducts should be made in the room.
