Implementation:
To guarantee the flow of water into the
chamber, a difference in positive pressure
needs to be created between the inlet and
outlet.
The inlet saddle tee is therefore installed on
the pump's backflow but in front of the
filter.
The outlet saddle tee is installed on the
filter outlet in front of any other equipment
(heating, injection, electrolysis, etc.).
Before any installation, pre-assemble the
elements as a trial run to validate the
overall dimensions of the parts.
Install the two saddle tees directed
downwards, to prevent any passage of air
that could result in measurement errors.
Install the passage chamber vertically,
electrode connection upwards, the
electrode must eventually be in vertical
position.
If the double saddle tee system is used, the
tightening must be securely blocked before
installing the chamber.
Cut the required length of flexible pipe and
connect the filter in a Y-shape on the
bottom of the passage chamber.
Do the same with the upper outlet of the
chamber and the valve located downstream
of the pool filter.
The flexible tubes must be pushed on to the
tapered end pieces before tightening the
retaining nut.
When using the unit, the air must be
flushed from the chamber by the flow of
water, and if this is not the case, then check
the following points: (No. = diagram on
page 21)
- opening of the valves


- filter cleanliness

- adapter passage end piece not suitable

(see box above).
5.2.3 Assembling the pH electrode
If the previous instructions have been
followed, the pH sensor is installed
vertically with the connecting cable
upwards.
Remove the cover from the pH
sensor (may be kept for
the sensor's winterisation, see
winterisation paragraph).
Insert the sensor in its specific connector,
push it down as far as possible without
touching the tube and tighten the
connector on the sensor without forcing it.
5.3 pH corrector injector
Install the saddle tee for the mandatory
injection on the swimming pool's backflow
after the saddle tee (pH electrode) and
after the robot tappings, booster
compressor or heating outgoing cable, and
before a chlorine injection or an electrolysis
cell.
