Capability Expanding

This chapter explains how you can expand capability of your CPU board
in such aspects as system memory, cache memory, and CPU.

3-1 System Memory

Your system DRAM is provided by 168 pin DIMM's (Dual In-line
Memory Modules) on the CPU board. The CPU board contains two
memory banks corresponding to connector DIMM1 and DIMM2.

The table below shows possible DIMM configurations for the memory
banks and the figure helps you correctly install the DIMM modules.
See Figure 3-2 for memory bank's location.
