Transmit NGR Message
Scan a barcode below to select whether or not to transmit a user-defined NGR (Not Good Read)
message when a barcode is not decoded.

Edit NGR Message
To edit an NGR message, scan the Edit NGR Message barcode and the numeric barcodes
corresponding to the ASCII values (decimal) of desired characters and then scan the Save barcode.
An NGR message can contain 0-7 characters (ASCII value of character: 0-255).

Edit NGR Message

Set the NGR message to “!ERR” (0x21, 0x45, 0x52, 0x52):
1. Scan the Enter Setup barcode.
2. Scan the Edit NGR Message barcode.
3. Scan the numeric barcodes “2”, “1”, “4”, “5”, “5”, “2”, “5” and “2”. (See the “ Digit
Barcodes ” section in Appendix )
4. Scan the Save barcode. (See the “ Save/Cancel Barcodes ” section in Appendix )
5. Scan the Exit Setup barcode.
