ANOMALIES
PROBABLE CAUSES
ACTION TO TAKE
Water does not flow
after installation.
There is no power supply.
Check the positioning of the batteries in the support
or the connection to the network.
Defective sensor or damaged cable.
Disconnect the sensor and connect another one.
If the problem is solved, replace the sensor following the
instructions of the installation guide.
There is no water.
Check valve opening.
Solenoid valve locked in closed position.
Disconnect the solenoid valve and clean it or replace it.
Water continues flowing.
The localization distance of the sensor is too high
(the safety timing device stops water after
a given time period).
Stop the water using the stopcock.
Slightly reduce the localization distance so that it
becomes lower than the one of water jet flowing.
Solenoid valve installed inversely.
Check the assembly direction of the solenoid valve.
The set of arrows below the body indicates the direction
of water flow.
Solenoid valve locked in open position.
Disassemble the solenoid valve, clean it and check the
direction of water flow. Check that there is a filter. If this
method does not work, replace the solenoid valve.
Sensor cable damaged.
Disconnect the sensor and connect another one.
If the problem is solved, replace the sensor following the
instructions of the installation guidebook.
Red led blinks.
Batteries are low.
Replace the batteries according to the polarities.
Water does not flow.
Solenoid valves are connected inversely.
Check the polarities: red (+), black (-).
The sensor is connected in the wrong way or is defective.
Check the positioning of the battery in its support.
Disconnect the sensor and connect another one.
If the problem is solved, replace the sensor following
the instructions of the installation guide.
The solenoid valve is locked in closed position.
Disconnect the solenoid valve and clean it or replace it.
The filters of the solenoid valve are clogged.
Remove and clean the filter or the filters placed on the inlets.
The aerator is clogged.
Remove and clean the aerator.
Put the aerator in vinegar all night long.
There is no hot (or cold)
water in the mixer.
The connection between the two solenoid
valves is defective.
Check that there are the cables that connect the two
solenoid valves and the quality of the connection of cable
terminals. Check the polarities as well.
One of the two solenoid valves was locked
in closed position.
Disconnect the sensor and connect another one.
If the problem is solved, replace the sensor following the
instructions of the installation guide. Remove the solenoid
valve, clean it and check the direction of the water flow.
Check that there is a filter. If this method does not work,
replace the solenoid valve.
Water flows too slowly.
Pressure is too low.
Try and increase the pressure.
Solenoid valve filters are clogged.
Remove and clean the filters.
The aerator is clogged.
Remove and clean the aerator.
The solenoid valve has limestone fouling.
Disconnect the solenoid valve and clean it or replace it.
Leakage at the end.
Gaskets or filter gaskets are defective.
Replace the gaskets or the filter gaskets.
