5.1 Configuration Introduction
5.1.1 Configuration Methods
Users with different using habits can configure the NRP1000/P by means of:

Phone keypad

Web browser (recommended)

Telnet with CLI command
5.1.2 Password Configuration
The browser and command lines of the phone can be set in either of the two modes: guest mode and
administrator mode. In the administrator mode, users can both view and modify all options as needed;
whereas in the guest mode, users can only view the SIP (1-2) and IAX 2 options, and the IP address and
port of the server. The username and password for entering different modes are different.
Guest mode:

Username: guest

Password: guest
Administrator mode:

Username: admin

Password: admin
The default password of phone screen menu is 123.
5.2 Setting the NRP1000/P through a Web Browser
When this phone and PC are connected to network, enter the IP address of the wan port in this phone as
the URL (e.g. http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx/ or http://xxx.xxx.xxx.xxx:xxxx/).
If you do not know the IP address, you can look it up on the phone’s display by pressing Status button.
