Engine - Engine and crankcase
32. Turn the drain petcock (1) on the radiator (2) clockwise
to close the coolant drain.
Fill the cooling system with the proper amount and
type of coolant. Refer to Operator's Manual.
NOTE: Depending on model, the cooling system has a
coolant capacity between 50 - 60 l ( 13.2 - 15.9 US gal ).

33. Install the gearbox and hydraulic pumps onto the en-
gine. (Refer to Main gearbox and drive - Install
(14.100) ).
34. Disconnect the fuel pump wire connector (1) to disable
the fuel pump (2) .
Check the engine oil level and top off if necessary.
Crank the engine over for three ten second intervals.
This will distribute lubricating oil to the engine oper-
ating systems and will allow oil pressure to be built
before starting the engine.

35. Connect the fuel pump wire connector (1) and bleed
the air from fuel injection system, as described in the
Operators manual.
Start the engine and check all hoses, fittings and
clamps for leaks.
Be certain that all electrical components are working
properly.
NOTE: The engine automatically stalls when no oil pres-
sure is detected.
