REMOVING THE DOOR
1. Facing heater, the door latch is located on the right side just behind the door edge.
2. Release the door latch. Swing door all the way to the left.
3. Grasp top of door with both hands and raise up.
D) WIRING - ROOM AIR BLOWER (See Figure 3)
1. Adjust the speed control knob to the desired level of velocity.
NOTE:
The fan will not operate unless the “AUTO/MANUAL” switch is
on the “AUTO” position and the speed control knob has been turned on. The
fan will automatically turn on when the air temperature of your unit reaches

F and the “AUTO/MANUAL/OFF” switch is on the “AUTO” setting..
2. This appliance, when installed must be electrically grounded in accordance with local
codes, or, in the absence of local codes, with the National Electrical Code, ANSI/NFPA
70-1987 or with the current Canadian Electrical Code CSA C22.1.
WARNING: ELECTRICAL GROUNDING INSTRUCTIONS: THIS APPLIANCE IS EQUIPPED
WITH A THREE PRONG (GROUNDING) PLUG FOR YOUR PROTECTION AGAINST SHOCK
HAZARD AND SHOULD BE PLUGGED DIRECTLY INTO A PROPERLY GROUNDED THREE-
PRONG RECEPTACLE. DO NOT CUT OR REMOVE THE GROUNDING FROM THIS PLUG.

NOTE:
Installation and repair should be done by a qualified service person. The heater
should be inspected before use and at least annually by a qualified service person. More
frequent cleaning may be required due to excessive lint from carpeting, bedding material, pet
hair, etc. It is imperative that control compartments and circulating air passageways of
the heater be kept clean.
