Windows Firmware Update
The following steps are used for updating the Windows OS firmware.

Open DOS Command window.

Go to the
utils
directory in the driver package provided.

The following binaries are required to be in the same directory from where the Flash
command will be executed:
nxflash.exe
phantom_obj
bootld

Run the following commands:
nxflash -i NX_NIC -u
Writing of the flash requires a few minutes. Please do not interrupt or reboot
during this time, as it may corrupt the Flash.

Reboot the system.

Verify the firmware has been updated using the following command.
nxflash -i NX_NIC --info

Verify the MAC address displayed matches the one printed on the card.

Linux Firmware Updates
The following steps are used for updating the Linux OS firmware.

Run the following command from the bin directory of the driver installation:
nxflash -i eth[n] -u

Reboot the system.
