6-2 Installation Method of Wind Direction Sensor
Flange installation is adopted. The threaded flange connection makes the lower components of the wind direction sensor
firmly fixed on the flange plate. Four installation holes of Ø6mm are on the circumference of the chassis. The bolts are used to
tightly fix the chassis on the bracket to make the whole device keep in the best horizontal position to ensure the accuracy of the
wind direction data. The flange connection is convenient to use, can withstand greater pressure, and ensures that the aviation
connector is facing the direction of the north.
