2.9 Automatic Pacer Testing
In the Automatic Pacer Testing Mode, measurements are performed
semi-automatically on seven parameters: pacer rate, pacer width,
pacer amplitude, pacing refractory interval, sensing refractory
interval, sensitivity, and A-V delay. The pacer width measurement is
combined with the PPM measurement.
For each parameter being measured, 10 different test values are
preprogrammed. The user has the option of running all 10 of the
tests using default values, running one or more tests with user
selected values, or eliminating any of the tests.
User modified values, may be saved for use in subsequent tests as
long as the EXPMT 2000 is not turned off. The user can leave the
modified value unsaved so that the original default values will be
output during subsequent tests. The test sequence continues until all
of the parameters are tested.
