2.5.3 Selecting Variable Test Loads
A.
Connect the variable test load adapter into the TRANS
input of the EXPMT 2000.
B.
Connect the transcutaneous pacer to the input of EXPMT
Test Load Adapter.
C.
Rotate the LOAD SELECTOR switch to the desired test
load for the measurement. 12 selections from 100 to
1000 Ohms.
D.
Turn the EXPMT 2000 on.
E.
Turn the pacer on.
F.
Select the desired pacer manufacturer.
G.
Select the desired parameter and begin measurements.

Measuring Pulse Parameters:
Rate, Width, and
Amplitude
A. Press the PPM ‘F1’ key to measure the Rate.
B. Press the Wdth ‘F2’ key to measure the Width.
C. Press the Amp ‘F3’ key to measure the Amplitude.
Note:
The
EXPMT 2000 pacer will continuously measure the
parameters and update the display with the new values. Pressing
the ‘F1’,‘F2’, or ‘F3’ key will select the measurement priority. The
parameter selected will be updated first followed by the others.
2.5.5 Measuring Refractory Periods
A. Select
Level 1 in the Pacer Test Main Menu.
B. Press the Ref ‘L4’ key for the refractory period measurement.
