5. Connect the AED using the optional AED cables specific to

the model to the jack on the paddle cover.

6. Turn the AED on and follow the manufacturer’s test

procedures..

7. The AED will analyze the waveform and audio alert for

‘shock’ or ‘no shock’.

8. If shock advised the AED will discharge and the discharged

energy will be displayed.

9. To stop the ‘shock’ advisory, select “ESC” and F2 from the

AED menu to run an ECG (NSR) waveform.

10. The AED will announce ‘no shock’ advised message.
