Configuring your Yap Jack
Overview
After successfully connecting the Yap Jack to your telephone, you are
ready to begin configuration. You will need to enter your Net2Phone
account number, PIN and ISP account information using the keypad
on your telephone before you can use your Yap Jack.
The following tables illustrate the voice menus used to configure your
Yap Jack. Review this section in its entirety before beginning the con-
figuration procedure. After you have completed the initial configura-
tion of your Yap Jack, you will not need to reprogram this information
again unless you change your account information. A troubleshooting
guide is located near the end of this manual to help with any installa-
tion issues that may occur before, during or after configuration of your
Yap Jack.
Entering Your Account Information
Lift the handset of your telephone and press the button on the top of
your Yap Jack. This activates the MAIN MENU. A voice prompt
announces a menu item followed by the telephone keypad number.
The choices you hear are listed in Table 1.
Registering Your Yap Jack
Registration entitles you to a one-year warranty and special offers. You
must register your Yap Jack in order to receive advance notice of these
offers. To do so, complete and mail the enclosed registration card.
