Awaiting a Call from Another Yap Jack
In order to receive a call to another Yap Jack, the party calling you
will need to know your Yap Jack phone number. Your Yap Jack phone
number is the same as your account number located on the back of
your Yap Time card.
• Pick up your telephone handset
• Press the button on the top of the Yap Jack
• Press 3 on your telephone keypad
• Hang up your telephone
Once the other party calls and the call has been connected, your phone
will ring and you can pick up the handset. Do not pick up the handset
before your phone rings or else the call will be terminated.
Making a Call From a Regular Phone to Another Phone
(Calling Card Call)
You can also use the account and PIN numbers on the back of your
Yap Time card to place calling card calls from any telephone at any
time to any other phone. Follow the directions on the back of your Yap
Time card to access savings on phone-to-phone calls.
Yap Jack Button Light
The lit button on the top of the Yap Jack can be used to determine the
status of your call. When blinking, the Yap Jack is in standby mode. If
you pick up and then hang up your phone’s handset while the button is
blinking, any current or pending operation will be ended. When the
button is lit continuously, your Yap Jack is in operational mode.

Once your call is complete and you want to make another Net2Phone
call, do not hang up. Simply press the button on the Yap Jack to initi-
ate another call.
Making a Call to Another Yap Jack
In order to place a call to another Yap Jack, you will need to know
their Yap Jack phone number. Your Yap Jack phone number is the
same as your account number located on the back of your Yap Time
card. Once you know the other party’s Yap Jack phone number
(Net2Phone account number), follow these steps:
• The Yap Jack you are calling must be in receiving mode (see
following section).
• Pick up your telephone handset
• Press the button on the top of the Yap Jack
• Press 2 on your telephone keypad
• Enter the other party’s Net2Phone account number (Yap Jack
phone number)
• Press the # key
• Hang up your telephone
After you hang up your telephone, the connection process will begin.
The Yap Jack will first dial your ISP and then connect with the Yap
Jack you are calling. Once the call has been connected, your phone
will ring and you can pick up the handset. Do not pick up the handset
before your phone rings or else the call will be terminated.
